Flaps Down CD Release Party ScheduledBaystate Hotel Gig Scheduled for May 20, 2000.March 9, 2000 -- Flaps Down, a rock band based in Northampton Massachusetts, has scheduled a CD Release Party at the Baystate Hotel on Saturday Night, May 20, 2000. This gig coincides with the release of their first CD titled "Innocent". Look for guest appearances from Jim Weeks and Mary Rice, who both contributed to several songs on the CD. Also look for past Flaps Down members Rob Ostberg and Dave Duseau to open for Flaps Down with their newly formed band. Featuring Steve Samolewicz on lead guitar, Walter Bak on drums, bass from Steve Nalewanski, and Ed Osepowicz on sax and lead vocals, Flaps Down creates a unique blend of rock, soul, rhythm and blues, and country/folk that is sure to please almost anyone.
