Flaps Down Booked with National Acts
March 9, 2000. -- The Northampton Airport has been host to several large music festivals, and year 2000 will be no different. Scheduled for July 8, 2000 is the Northampton Country Festival, featuring national acts Toby Keith and Lee Roy Parnell. The local Northampton band Flaps Down will be opening the show. This gig coincides with the release of Flaps Down's first CD titled "Innocent". Featuring Steve Samolewicz on lead guitar, Walter Bak on drums, bass from Steve Nalewanski, and Ed Osepowicz on sax and lead vocals, Flaps Down creates a unique blend of rock, soul, rhythm and blues, and country/folk that is sure to please almost anyone.
